NCSE/atheism linked; Myers’ fan proposes final solution

April 8, 2008 – 3:36 pm by William Wallace

In a post titled “truth tickets”, PvM links the NCSE to atheism, and seeks donations to the evolander church of Darwinism.
Good job PvM!(not)

Meanwhile, over at Paul Myers’ pharyngula, they are blogging on the same nonsense, where a PZ fan wrote:

Since there is plenty of stupidity and insanity in the world, in the guise of all religious cretins, I propose a nice carbon offset by eliminating these oxygen consuming morons and combining their carbon dioxide residue to plant trees which would produce copious amounts of oxygen that we so sorely need to replenish that lost to deforestation and needlessly consumed by religious idiots who tend to breathe it without recourse to their gods. Their carcasses will release plenty of carbon and oxygen not only to rekindle a more healthier planet in the form of oxygen producing plants, but also to establish fantastic gardens of fruits, vegetables, and all sorts of variety of plants for every sane human need. Once they are gone, all their freaking churches should be razed and allowed to revert to the natural world. Sort of what the book “The World Without Us” describes, but only as applied to the religious vermin. All those freaking tax dodging houses of insane worship, if not razed, perhaps can be converted to needed housing, libraries, and centers of scientific inquiry. Now that will be an incredible carbon offset!Holbach (PZ Myers fan)

Way to go Holbach. A final solution for those who believe in creation.

Is there any doubt where the evolanders stand vis-a-vis eugenics?

Note: Truth tickets were inspired by the silly notion of “carbon offsets”. The truth ticket scheme is a patent attempt to raise money for the NCSE, a “tax dodging” evolander worship organization.

    These guys are thugs.

  3. Do not try to submit any more comments at Panda’s Thumb. Same goes for trackbacks. This is your only warning.

  4. Yes, I see they are no longer accepting comments and/or trackbacks from me. But are you threatening me?

By William Wallace on Apr 8, 2008

  5. You should consider yourself lucky Mr Wallace; you were allowed to express yourself fully at Panda’s Thumb many times. Miss O’Leary expells people from Uncommon Descent when they disagree with her too much.

  6. Seems that our confused friend Wallace does not understand the difference between an atheist site linking to the NCSE and the NCSE endorsing an atheist site.

It’s just that atheists tend to have a more accurate understanding of science, especially evolutionary science that such sites endorse the NCSE.

Sad to see such confusion still exists among creationists.

  7. Calling for the death of creotards is not eugenics. It is hyperbole.

    Sounds like a threat.

  9. ellazimm,

Lucky? Not really. But can you explain why I was blocked? Doesn’t this just mean that the PT-mafia is as bad as those they decry?

    PvM,

Aren’t you a creationist? Do you like Larry Norman? Why are my comments being flushed down the memory hole at Panda’s Thumb? Why aren’t you honoring trackbacks? Did the former NCSE minister of propaganda retaliate against me, or is this just another “glitch”?

    Reynold,

You sound like an editor I know.

    DanM,

    Yes it does. Thanks.

  10. Lucky? Not really. But can you explain why I was blocked? Doesn’t this just mean that the PT-mafia is as bad as those they decry?

Nope, your trackback was marked for approval due to an unfortunate spam attempt. Just like you mark my postings for approval.

    PvM,

Aren’t you a creationist? Do you like Larry Norman? Why are my comments being flushed down the memory hole at Panda’s Thumb? Why aren’t you honoring trackbacks? Did the former NCSE minister of propaganda retaliate against me, or is this just another “glitch”?

I am a Christian, not a creationist which refers to a scientifically untenable position.

As to glitches, do you still remember the glitch in which my posting was replaced my text I had not written?

  11. Is there any doubt that the evolanders stand vis-a-vis eugenics?

A somewhat grammatically challenged sentence which is also logically challenged.

Not bad, for such a short phrase.

By PvM on Apr 9, 2008

  12. PvM, thanks for the correction.

As a “Christian”, you’re not even an old earth creationist? Who created the universe if not God? Chance? Q? As a physicist and a “Christian”, how do you explain the origin of the universe? This is a sincere question, as it is a tough question that I am also considering. Feel free to share your conclusion and/or struggle with this challenging problem, either here, or, gasp, at Panda’s Thumb, or somewhere else if you have another blog.

Regarding Panda’s Thumb, I think you’re out of the loop at best, as at least one of my comments was not approved, and did not show up at the bathroom wall either.

But thanks for honoring the trackback.

    You are an enigma.

    Sigh, Hi William…

And no your trackback was held for approval. We have been hit by a massive trackback spam recently.

Thanks for restoring my ability to comment, and trackback. I still find it odd that you’ve aligned with atheists, and that you are promoting the falsehood that literal readings of the Bible and “fundamentalist” Christianity are against Science, but whatever. As Ann Coulter wrote, Christians don’t need evolution to be false, but atheist need macro-evolution to be true.

After reading this post, I wonder how PT-mafia regulars rectify their opposition to the tax exempt status of religious organizations with the tax exempt status of the NCSE. (Personally, I think both should be taxed).

Who or what gave you the idea to encourage others to support the evolander NCSE?

At least you’re not encouraging others to see the film after purchasing tickets for a different film.

[UPDATE: PvM does seem to be out of the loop, as this comment was submitted to PT but also went down a memory hole.]

[UPDATE: The comment was finally allowed at PT.]

  14. “Eugenics” if it were carried out correctly, should be based on genetics, which creationist belief is not determined by. Not that I’m endorsing genetics, just saying your use of the word is incorrect.

I’m curious, why do you quote Ann Coulter so often?

By zoltan on Apr 9, 2008

  15. Ann Coulter is one of the smartest women I know.

My wife is the smartest, and she is a lot smarter in mathematics than most men.

I like smart strong confident women.

By William Wallace on Apr 9, 2008

  16. Could you reference which of her ideas you find to be smart? On what factors do you judge her intelligence?

By zoltan on Apr 9, 2008

  17. Ann Coulter is one of the smartest women I know.

I presume you do not really know that many women.

I like smart strong confident women.

And yet you like Ann Coulter?

  18. Last time I checked, you were banned from PT for violating the stated rules. That I allow you to contribute should be seen as a favor not a right.

Which rule? And I do note that this is the first time you’ve hinted at any such violation.

  19. These veteran maggots who speak of ‘final solutions’, demolishing theism and taking children away from religious parents suffer from intolerance, and that far and above anything else is the problem in this war between theism and atheism that they want to start. Their intolerance is the cancer sweeping the world today, and it is very much a cancer that we all must work towards fighting by exposing and stopping these intolerants.
